LA MIRADA, CA — Kittrich Corp, a multi-product distributor of shelf liners and other consumer products, has acquired Vantage Industries, which produces and distributes rug underlay products. Jim Yardley, director of sales and planning for Kittrich, confirmed the sale.
Vantage has manufacturing facilities in the Atlanta area. “Kittrich has assumed operational duties for Vantage products and the location for manufacturing of Vantage products will remain unchanged during the transition,” Yardley told Rugnews.com in an e-mail.
Discussing the Vantage sales organization, Yardley stated, “Currently we are in the process of integrating the Vantage and Kittrich sales teams. We are committed to providing phenomenal value to our customers through an expanded product line coupled with a world-class sales force and operations team standing behind it.”
Vantage was founded in the late 1980′s and later operated as a division of Leggett & Platt for many years. The company’s product line has included a variety of non-slip products such as rug pads, laminate underlay, fitness mats, and shower and bath mats.
